Work with the Ocean.
At Seaquence we build the technology that enables Ocean industries to solve the most pressing challenges they face: decarbonisation, efficiency, safety, compliance and cost.
To deliver ocean innovation with zero harm to people and the environment, enabling the blue economy to Work with the Ocean.
Why we Work with the Ocean.
The Ocean regulates the climate we all depend on, absorbing around ninety per cent of the planet's excess heat, and it will provide more of our energy and our food while carrying most of our trade. To operate in its conditions and to safeguard its health as we do: that is the commitment, and it aligns Seaquence with the UN Sustainable Development Goals for clean energy, innovation, responsible operations, climate action and life below water.
The outcomes we answer to.
We call it SCORE: safety, cost, operations, regulation and efficiency. It is the test we apply to our performance, to how we work and how we approach every challenge, and to what Sea4D delivers from day one on every vessel, structure and task: faster, safer, greener and fully compliant operations, building the data foundation for the ocean insights to come.
These values set the framework for the product: Sea4D is designed, built and judged on SCORE.
Stephen Douglas, Founder.
Stephen Douglas has twenty years of maritime experience running marine operations across Ocean infrastructure and shipping. For the last eight he has managed marine operations for leading offshore wind farm developers.
He founded Seaquence because the challenges facing those industries have outgrown the technology they run on. The Ocean is being asked to provide more energy, more food and more trade, and every operation on it is being asked to decarbonise, to run more efficiently and to prove itself safe and compliant. Seaquence builds the enabling technology that closes that gap: Sea4D.
